BP, Shell, They SPill & Spill...

What parallels, if any, can be drawn from the BP's Gulf oil spill and spills that have been going on in Niger Delta of Nigeria for almost 50 years?

Remotely Tortured!

Not too long ago, a friend asked me if it is possible to torture somebody "by remote control".

"What do you mean", I asked.

He said he knows someone who has been going through a special kind of health problem.  One minute he's fine.  The next few minutes he complains that something is moving or crawling through his body.  He's done X-Rays, MRI's, etc.  None of these revealed anything.  Let's call this guy "The Tortured Guy".

Now here's where the plot thickens.

Somebody told "The Tortured Guy" that somebody said (one of those "them say, them say") that they know a man in the "The Tortured Guy's" village who has a doll named after him.  Every once in while, he pick up the doll, says all kinds of nasty things to the doll, and sticks pins and needles into it.

He thinks that these "doll-abuse" episodes correspond to the times when "The Tortured Guy" feel these pains.  He cannot confirm this.

Hence the question.

Can someone be tortured "by remote control"?

I told him that I didn't know.  Point is that we believe in God.  If we believe that He exists, then we must also know that there is "an anti-God", aka, the Devil.

If anyone can torture, it's got to be the Devil.

What do you think?

The Nkwelle Ezunaka Union, USA holds 4th National Convention

The Nkwelle Ezunaka Union, USA held their 4th National Convention in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on July 9th through July 11th, 2010.

This year’s Theme is “Health is Wealth”.

This group is currently raising $500,000 to build and improve a major Health Care facility in The Nkwelle Ezunaka area.

United Nigeria Association of Tulsa believes that this is what any group should be doing for their own people in Nigeria.

If you are waiting for the Nigerian Government to do it, it will never happen.

We applaud The Nkwelle Ezunaka and we encourage other groups to support them and look into doing exactly what they are doing.

Thank you Nkwelle Ezunaka Union, USA.  We had fun in Oklahoma City.

Tulsa In The Newscobene writes "While people living in such places as New York City, Los Angeles, Houston, or any of the cities with population numbering in the millions may think Tulsa is small potato, we really live life to the fullest in this neck of the wood.

We hope you can share your experience here in Tulsa."
